My Story, My Song
Missy’s latest book, My Story, My Song: Mother-Daughter Reflections on Life and Faith, is a project with Robin Roberts, co-anchor of Good Morning America, and her 87-year-old mother, Lucimarian Roberts. The heartwarming memoir gives readers a glimpse into pivotal moments in the elder Mrs. Roberts’ life, showing how faith in God has strengthened her and how God has guided and encouraged her through people of all ages and races.
For My Story, My Song, Missy traveled to Lucimarian Roberts’ home in Pass Christian, Mississippi to sit with Mrs. Roberts and to hear her life stories, including those about the Great Depression, racial segregation, and Hurricane Katrina. Robin Roberts has also written a personal reflection for each chapter of the book.
